Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
Account information you provide (name, email, password). For each social account you connect: an access token, the platform's account identifier, and your display name or handle — used to publish on your behalf and to show you which account is connected. Any third-party API keys you choose to add in Settings. Photos and videos you upload for posting. And the content you create or that SocioBoom finds on your behalf (posts, reviews, discovered pain points). We never receive or store your password for any connected platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
To operate your account, publish and schedule the posts you create, run AI features (Review Poster, Pain-Point Discovery, Content Strategy) on your behalf, and show you analytics for content you've published.
3. Third-Party Services
SocioBoom uses third-party services to deliver its features: social platforms you connect (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit), Cloudflare R2 for storing the photos and videos you upload, search providers, review sources (Google, Yelp), and AI model providers. Data sent to these services is limited to what's needed to perform the action you requested, and is subject to each provider's own privacy policy.
4. Media You Upload
Photos and videos you upload are stored with Cloudflare R2 so they can be published. Instagram and TikTok do not accept file uploads directly — they fetch media from a link — so uploaded files are served from a public web address that is not guessable but is not password-protected either. Please keep this in mind when uploading anything you would not want reachable by link. Removing media from a post also deletes it from our storage.
5. Data Security
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Social account access tokens and any API keys you provide are encrypted at rest. All traffic is served over HTTPS and rate-limited.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect any social account at any time from its platform page, which deletes the stored access token immediately. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your personal data, uploaded media, and all stored tokens from our systems except where we're required to retain data by law. To request deletion by email, contact socioboom@spectroniqlimited.com.
7. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time from Settings. Contact us if you'd like a copy of your data or want it removed from our systems.
8. Cookies
We use minimal cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't sell your data to third parties or use it for ad targeting.
9. Children's Privacy
SocioBoom is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
